Patsy Wilkerson, devoted wife and mother, died October 19, 2011 at Lackey Memorial Hospital in Forest, Ms. Patsy was born on April 27, 1932, daughter of William Caperton and Inez McGriff Johnson in Sebastopol, Ms.
Patsy was blessed to be married to the love of her life, Robert Wilkerson for 54 years. She spent her married life in the High Hill Community. She was a member of High Hill United Methodist Church, where she shared her gift and love of music on many occasions. Patsy, a devoted Christian, cherished her family, home, and friends. She was happiest at her home filled with treasured memories of the people and things she loved most. She filled her free time with gardening, and writing short stories about her childhood and family.
Patsy Wilkerson was preceded in death by her son Bob Wilkerson and daughter Ruth Ann Wilkerson, sisters Becky Pope of Amite La., and Peggy Taylor of Tennessee. Patsy is survived by her husband Robert Gerald Wilkerson, one sister Ollie Johnson of Madison, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Richard Wilkerson, Clint Wilkerson, Tre Chambers, Jonathan Ellerbusch, Joseph Cieglo, and Brent Gay.
Honorary Pallbearers are Dr John Paul Lee, Dr.Tom Feduccia, Bobby Wilkerson, Robert Marveggio, and Ted Euper, Ronnie McBride, Edward Eichelberger, Tanner Armstrong and Austin Armstrong.
Funeral services will be conducted at Forest United Methodist Church Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 11am. Interment will follow at the High Hill Methodist Cemetery.
Visitation will be held held from 8am-10:30 on Saturday October 22, 2011 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home, Forest Ms.
