Patsy Franklin Wadsworth, 78, died Wednesday, February 25, 2015 in the comfort of her home in Pelahatchie. She was a devoted wife, mother and granny. Visitation is 4-8 pm Friday evening at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon and 10 am Saturday at Shiloh Methodist Church in Pelahatchie. Services will be 11 am Saturday at the church with interment in Shiloh Cemetery.
Patsy was born on June 17, 1936 to Troy and Emmagene Franklin. She grew up in Pelahatchie and graduated from Crossroads High School. She attended Fondren Sisters Beauty School and became a beauty operator for several years and then became a rural mail carrier where she retired. Patsy married C. L. (Bossie) Wadsworth on July 24, 1954 and was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church and the Friendship Sunday School Class.
Patsy is survived by her husband, C. L. (Bossie) Wadsworth; daughter, Denise Bates and husband Eddie of Pelahatchie; son, Arron Wadsworth of Pelahatchie; sister, Norma Jean Faulkner of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Meagan Smith, Jamie Goldman and husband Cody, Amanda King and husband Matt; great grandchildren, Jaci, Aidan, Ethan and Gage. She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Emmagene Edwards Franklin and brother, Fred Franklin.
