Paul Michael Nichols, 66, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at the Mississippi Baptist Hospital. Visitation will be 11am Saturday until the 1pm Memorial Service in the chapel Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.
Paul was the oldest of ten children born in New Orleans, Louisiana and he lived most of his life in Houston, MS. He began working at Moore Truck Stop in Houston at a very young age to help provide for his family after his father passed away. Mr. Nichols retired from the State of Mississippi MDOT Clinton office.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Rush Nichols; brothers, Johnny Nichols of Carthage, MS and Nick Nichols of Charlotte, NC; sisters, Fran Wohlgemuth of Leesburg, VA, Wanda Brown of Houston, MS, Linda McCammon of Vicksburg, MS, Betty Watkins of Carthage, MS Lounette Duncan of Houston, MS and Judy Shields of Brandon, MS. Mr. Nichols was preceded in death by his son, Paul Stephen Nichols; mother, Gertrude Ella Nichols; father, Girdie Nichols and brother, Donald Nichols.
