Paul Reichelt

May 3, 1978 — December 27, 2020

Forest, MS

Paul Joseph Reichelt was born in Jackson, MS on May 3, 1978. A longtime resident of the Brandon area, Paul relocated to the MS Gulf Coast about four years ago, where he lived with his aunts, Ann and Tammy. He will be remembered for his simple lifestyle and the love he had for his family; he was a good son to Steven, and a “Mama’s boy” to Sandra, loving father to Tristan; brother to Miscelle, Carl, and Kelcey, nephew to aunts and uncles, true friend to many. An appreciative character as stated from the scriptures, “in everything give thanks,” Paul demonstrated that appreciation vocally often for those who cared for him, whether the deed was small or great. A Star Wars enthusiast and comic book follower of " X Men ", listening to music and youthless trivia of such, were things that occupied his time, as well as being a competitive tennis player in his younger years. He was as Christian by testimony of his faith and accepted Christ as His Savior; the family clings to that hope. He passed away at Gulfport Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, MS on December 27, 2020 at the age of 42.

Preceding him in death is his mother: Mrs. Sandra K. Blakeney Reichelt  (2016).

Survivors include his son: Tristan Paul Reichelt of Pearl; his father: Mr. Steven L. Reichelt of Bay St. Louis; one sister: Miscelle Rene (Kerry) Kummrow of Wilmer, Minnesota; two brothers: Carl Reichelt of Omaha, Nebraska and Kelcey Steven (Dani) Smith of Reston, Virginia; one paternal uncle: Rodney (Carol) Reichelt of Sherman, Texas; two paternal aunts: Joan Reichelt of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Janet (Dan) Wald of Apache Junction, Arizona; three “wonderful aunts”, sisters of his mother: Ann Tolbert and Tammy Foles of Pass Christian and Linda Mata of Richland; one maternal uncle: Jimmy (Brenda) Blakeney of Buckatunna; several nieces and nephews also survive; he also leaves behind his beloved Yorkie: Bella Kay Reichelt.
