Paul Theriot

Paul N. Theriot, age 85, a resident of Newton, formerly of Forest, died Monday May 13, 2013 following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Saturday May 18, 2013 from the Forest United Methodist Church. Rev. Paul McDonald will officiate. Visitation will be held from 12:30pm till service time at the church. No graveside services will be held, the family will remain at the church to visit with friends. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery.
Mr. Theriot was born to Willie Lucien Theriot and Celestine Bourg Theriot on February 21, 1928 in Baton Rouge, LA.
He was Catholic, however for many years he has been a part of the Forest United Methodist Church. He had worked at the Sunbeam Corporation in Forest until it closed, then he became the custodian at the Forest Baptist Church until he retired. Mr. Theriot loved trains. He had many models he collected through the years. He will be missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Celeste Williamson and Jeanne Horne.
Survivors include a sister, Yvonne Wolverton of Sebastopol, several nieces and nephews.
