Paula Jean Cunningham, 55, a resident of Brandon died Monday, August 31, 2015 at home. Visitation will be held from 12-2 pm at Fannin Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held 2 pm at Fannin Baptist Church in Fannin, MS with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Dr. Ron Bird will officiate the services. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.
Mrs. Cunningham was a native of Independence, MO and longtime resident of Rankin County. She was the daughter of Paul Whipple and Mabel Blumb Atwell. She was married to Rex Cunningham. Mrs. Cunningham was a member of Fannin Baptist Church. She loved her family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Mrs. Cunningham was preceded in death by her father, Paul Whipple.
Mrs. Cunningham is survived by her husband, Rex Cunningham; daughters, Tiffani (Chris) Johnson of Independence, MO and Trista (Brandon) Hardy of Murfreesboro, TN; mother, Mabel Atwell of Independence, MO; sisters, Charlotte Crook of Phoenix, AZ and Linda Whipple of Independence, MO; brothers, Irvin Conn of Independence, MO, Charles Conn of California, Mike Conn of Independence, MO and Paul Whipple, Jr. of Independence, MO; four grandchildren, Ethan Johnson, Kelsey Johnson, Carter Johnson and Corban Hardy.
