Mr. David Hill, age 57, a resident of Morton passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at his best friends home.  Visitation will be held 9am-2pm Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.  Services will be held 2pm Saturday from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Leesburg  Church of Christ Cemetery.  There will be NO graveside service.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Mr. Hill was born in Scott County on April 19, 1962.  He enjoyed helping people and was very kind hearted.  David had a big heart for animals and loved his puppies, Snowball, Trouble, Brownie, Jack and Snowhite.  He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Ray Hill and Annie Shoemaker Hill; sister, Kathy Hill and brother, Danny Hill.

He is survived by his niece, Angel Hill Usry (Levi); nephew, Daniel Hill; great niece, Brianna Myers (Lykeenan Kelly); great nephews, Noah Myers, Clay Myers, Blake Usry and Brayden Usry; great great nephew, Braxton Kelly; best friends, Dianne Boykin and Felicia Creel; aunt, Lois Shoemaker; cousin, Jean Bates; and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Richard Boykin, Robert Grantham Jr., Clay Myers, Roger Shoemaker, Jason Prestage and  Michael Beckham.  Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Meeks, James Chunn, David Chunn and Dewayne Sullivan.
