Paul Michael “Nemo” Ryan, age 55, a resident of Forest, died Sunday April 17, 2016, following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services were conducted at 11am Thursday, April 21, 2016, from the chapel of the Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest, with graveside services at 2pm from the Kewanee Cemetery in Lauderdale County. Visitation was held from 5pm to 8pm Wednesday April 20, 2017 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest.
Mr. Ryan was born on August 25, 1960 in Forest to his parents Paul Ryan and Betty Eason Ryan. He was a lifelong resident of Forest with exception to the time he served his country in the Navy. He was employed by Tyson Foods in Forest for many years. He enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with his family and friends. Known by many as “Nemo” he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Penny Arbuckle Ryan of Forest, five children; Michelle Jackson (Cecil) of Sebastopol, Sherry Green (Scott) of Forest, Buck Parker (Jackie) of Meridian, Carolyn Parker of Forest and Justin Parker of Wichita Falls, TX. He also leaves behind one brother; Mark Eason Ryan of Forest and one sister; Jennifer Ryan Viere (Jack) of Corinth, TX. A legacy of 10 grandchildren;
Jessica Jackson, Chrissy Green, Chelsea Jackson, Meckena Green, Preston Green, Taylor Jackson, Hunter Parker, Sarah Parker, Janis Watts and Ryan Green, two nephews; Chandler Ryan Koch (fiance’ Lisa Byrne), Landon Glenn Koch (Toni Allison) and a host of friends.
Pallbearers were Chandler Ryan Koch, Landon Glenn Koch, Scott Green, Buck Parker, Preston Green, Cecil Jackson, Dell Sanford, Carl Johnson and Scott Eason. Honorary pallbearers were Jack Viere, Jeff “Bodean” Gaddis and Vaden Jackson.
