Peggy Ferguson

Peggy Ferguson, age 74, a resident of Brandon, MS passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021 at her home in Brandon, MS. A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Monday, March 1, 2021 at Concord Baptist Cemetery in Pelahatchie, MS.

Mrs. Ferguson born on February 25, 1947 in Caraway, AR to P.H. Underwood and Jewel Kelly Underwood. She was married to John Rankin Ferguson. Mrs. Ferguson was a member of Concord Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, good country music and being with friends. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Mrs. Ferguson was preceded in death by her husband, John Rankin Ferguson; daughter, Sherry Ferguson; parents, P.H. Underwood and Jewel Kelly Underwood; sisters, Hazel Cockroft and Bobby Cockroft.

Mrs. Ferguson is survived by her children, Phil (Amanda Blackmon) Ferguson, Jeff Ferguson, Cathy (Doug) Holloway and Shelley (Tom) Sellers; 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
