Peggy Jean Monk, age 63, a resident of Walnut Grove passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday October 10, 2010.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10am Tuesday from the Ott & Lee Chapel of Forest. Rev Mark Gill will officiate the services.
Mrs. Monk was a native of Carroll County and had lived in this area most of her life. She was a member of the Free Trade Church of God and a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn Monk of Walnut Grove, one son, DeWayne Monk (Sebrina) of Sebastopol, two sisters, Linda Coleman of Halehurst and Sarah Chipmon (David) of Sebastopol, and two grandchildren Kayla Monk and Cory Monk and two great-grandchildren Tywan Bennoman and Angela Mae Bennoman.
Pallbearers will be Edward Earl Monk, Benjamin Rasberry, Nace Bennoman, Steve Monk, Elliot Stokes, Tim Allen, Chris Fisher, and Michael Monk.
Ott & Lee Funeral Home of Forest is in charge of arrangements.
