Peggy June Buckley Rogers, 73, passed away Monday, April 9, 2012 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00am Friday, April 13, 2012 in the chapel of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 7:00pm Thursday, April 12, 2012 and one hour prior to the service Friday. Interment will follow the service in the First Baptist Church of Fannin Cemetery.
Peggy was a native of Stringer, MS. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Fannin for the past 34 years. She loved her friends and family of FBC of Fannin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Rogers.
Survivors include her son, Jack Bradley Rogers (Margaret) of Brandon; daughter, Sarah Gaye Stephen (James) of Brandon; grandsons, Ryan Stephen of Brighton, England, Jacob Rogers (Danielle) of Brandon, Kaleb Rogers (Lisa) of Oxford, Evan Stephen (Heather) of Brandon, and William Noah Rogers of Brandon; granddaughters, Lessie Johnson (Brian) of Brandon, and Sarah Thompson of Brandon; great grandchildren, Hannah Thompson, Will Thompson, Emma Thompson, Bailee Johnson, and Ella Johnson; brothers, Tommy Buckley (Frankie) of Stringer, Bill Buckley (Vicki) of Stringer, and Bobby Buckley (Diane) of Stringer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Fannin Building Fund, 101 Church Rd. Brandon, MS 39047
