Peggy Sue Birdno, age 64, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation is 5 – 8 pm Thursday, January 29, 2015 and Friday, January 30, 2015 from 10 until 11 am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Richland, MS. Funeral Services are 11 am Friday, January 30, 2015 from the Chapel of Ott & Lee with burial to follow in Glenwood Memorial Park in Richland, MS.

Sue was born on December 6, 1950 in Jackson, Mississippi to the late Loy Martin and Lillian Beatrice Pigg Posey. She was a bookkeeper/homemaker and a Baptist. She married Freddie E. Birdno on October 23, 1997. A resident of Richland for the past 17 years, she loved her husband, children, and grandchildren very much. She also loved cooking big, special meals for her family and friends. She loved to ride her four wheeler and being out at the lake fishing.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Charles Martin Edwards; and a sister, Cindy Elaine Posey.

She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Freddie E. Birdno of Richland; three daughters, Beverly Cotton of Brandon, Lynn Bailey of Richland, and Angie Lawrence of Florence; two step daughters, Lisa Nelson and Linda Revis both of Tulsa, OK; four sisters, Pat Bell of Bovina, Nell Posey of Richland, Eva Nolen of Forest Hill, LA and Terry Strother of Glenmora, LA; a brother, Ronnie Posey of D’Lo, MS; fourteen grandchildren, Charlie Jones, Jessica Jones, Amanda Carson, Daniel Jones, RJ Elliott, Emily Bailey, Danielle Wallace, Brooke Little, Cody Cooper, Kaitlen Cooper, Anna Cooper, Alex Desruisseau, Miles Revis and Nicholas Revis; six step grandchildren, Cheyenne Lawrence, Vickie Lawrence, Kenny Lawrence, Paul Bailey, Chris Bailey, and Eden Bailey; and eight great grandchildren; and her two dogs that she dearly loved, Belle and Lacey.
