Peter Abraham Saway, 92, passed away on September 11, 2015. Visitation will be 3-5 pm Sunday, September 13, 2015, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Monday, September 14, 2015, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Flowood, MS. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson.
Mr. Saway was an Army Veteran of World War II and he retired from the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier. He was a beloved husband and father.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Bessie Saway of Brandon, MS; sons, Anthony Saway (Dawn) of Birmingham, AL and Alan Saway (Jill) of Dahlonega, GA; daughter, Margaret Corbitt (Tim) of Brandon, MS; he is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
