Visitation will be 1:30 - 3:00pm Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS Funeral Mass will be at 4:00pm Sunday, February 15, 2015 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Flowood, MS Philipp Herntz Celestin Brandon, MS An evangelic young man with a great charisma and an infectious smile, Philipp Herntz Celestin, of Brandon, Mississippi, passed away on Wednesday the 11th of February 2015 at the tender age of 18. He lived a young happy life and faced his adversities head on. He was born on July 16th 1996 in Miami, FL and was a fighter from birth, To grace us with his infectious smile and joy, he overcame surgery after critical surgery to LIVE!! He resided in Brandon, Mississippi for the past 10 years. Philipp was a senior at Northwest Rankin High School and was deeply involved within his immediate community, touching hearts and inspiring everyone. He was an active member of the NWR Green Club in Middle School, and served as Altar Server for St Richards Catholic Church, Youth Band Member at St Paul Catholic Church, Servant Leader at PineLake Preschool where he also participated in the Ignite Program. He worked locally at the Bounce Palace where he inspired and touched the lives of many children. Philipp was scheduled to graduate on May 14, 2015. He was extremely influential and if you met him even once, he would touch your life in ways never imaginable. Philipp is survived by his loving parents and sisters Joseph Eddy Celestin, Widley Durand-Celestin, Khloe Celestin and Aysha Celestin. A Funeral Mass will be held at 4pm on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Flowood with visitation starting at 1:30pm until 3:00pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. There will also be a Memorial Service on Tuesday at 3:45pm at Pinelake Church Reservoir Campus. Memorials may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church or Pinelake Church.
