Mrs. Gale Earls, 55, a resident of Morton died Friday, October 19, 2012 at her home. Funeral services were held 2 pm Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton with burial in the Independence United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation was held 5-8 pm Saturday, October 20, 2012 at the funeral home. Rev. Art Kinstley and Rev. Buddy Bayliss officiated the services. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Earls lived most of her life in Scott Co. She was the daughter of the late James Franklin and Barbara Marcelle Sumrall Johnson. She was married to Benny Frank “Frankie” Earls. Mrs. Earls worked many years for Blain Asphalt Company. She enjoyed cooking and shopping. She loved her family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Benny Frank “Frankie” Earls; daughter, Leanne Earls; brother, Fred (Sherry) Johnson; sisters, Karen (Danny) Henry and Theresa (Jon) Lathem; mother in law, Lillian Earls and a nephew, Dan Henry; aunts, cousins and a host of friends.
