Phyllis E. Winstead, Shiloh Community, MS
Phyllis E. Winstead, 71, passed away Monday, July 23, 2012 at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. Visitation was held Wednesday, July 25, 2012 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, Mississippi and Thursday, July 26, 2012 from 12:00 p.m.-12:45 p.m. at Shiloh United Methodist Church. Funeral Services were held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Shiloh United Methodist Church with burial following in the Shiloh Cemetery. Rev. Ron McDougal officiated the services. Pallbearers were Kurt Rhodes, Eddie Rhodes, Gene Robbins, Larry Meyers, Bob Robbinson and Richard Warren.
Mrs. Winstead was born in Morton, Mississippi and lived in the Shiloh Community for the past 12 years after moving from Leesburg, Mississippi. She was an active member of Shiloh United Methodist Church and was a school teacher for more than thirty years.
She is survived by her husband, Reginald G. Winstead; three daughters, Cheryl Ann Winstead, Nicole Banes (Michael) and Gretchen Kimble (Paul); one sister, Barbara E. Dewsnap; one brother, John Curtis Everitt; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
