Mrs. Polly Anne Franklin Schneider, age 68, of Pelahatchie passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017. Her visitation was held 5-9pm Monday, August 14, 2017 from the Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Funeral services were held 11 am Tuesday, August 15, 2017 from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Rehobeth Baptist Cemetery. Bro. Steve Clark officiated the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Mrs. Schneider was born in Elaine, Arkansas on February 6, 1949. Polly enjoyed her yard art and loved woodworking. She was extremely creative and was a published author. Polly loved sewing and making quilts and blankets. Having all the family over for holidays and cooking dinners was something she loved to do and you did not have to be family to come and enjoy. Polly loved her family very much and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Franklin and Gladys Aderhalt Franklin; son, Claude Joseph “Jody” Rhinehart; brother, Jerry Wayne Franklin and great grandchild, Braiden Comer.
She is survived by her spouse of 41 years, David Schneider of Pelahatchie; 3 children, Gene Finnegan of Jackson, Melissa Ruth (David) of Pelahatchie and Christy Ogden (John) of Brandon; siblings, Don Franklin (Nina) of Morton, Robert Franklin (Nancy) of Brandon, Lucille Langdon (John) of Pelahatchie and Susan Gill of Arkansas; 10 grandchildren Timmy Finnegan, Jimmy Finnegan, Chrystal Finnegan, Roseanna Kyzar, Polly Hall, Margaret Hughes, Jessica Grafton, Joe Rhinehart, John David Ogden and Ava Ogden; 34 great grandchildren, AJ, Riley, Noah, Makinley, Dakota, Delany, Jayce, Alexi, Ethan, Jacob, Landon, Mary, Aiden, Bailee, Torrie, Sophie, Cooper, Malory, Caden, Alissa, Blaze, Alexandar, Maddox, Oliver, Heather, Lora May, Destiny, Autumn, Issac, RJ, Sammie Joe, Aiden, Riley and Abby; nieces & nephews, Samantha, Josh, Glenn, Eric, John, Theresa, Laura, Christine, Lecrecia S., Bubba, Dustin, Johnathan, Matthew, Tim, Jason, Lecrecia F., Tommy, Adam, Phil, Shree, Don and Langdon and more friends than we can list.
Pallbearers were Bobby Finnegan, Don Renfroe, Michael Hall, Jeremy Phillips, Mark Varady and Michael Hill. Honorary pallbearers were Kenny Ogden and Jamie Buford.
