SERVICES: 11 AM FRIDAY AT OTT AND LEE FUNERAL HOME IN MORTON
BURIAL: OAK GROVE CHURCH OF GOD CEMETERY
VISITATION: 5-9 PM THURSDAY
Polly Ann Prestage, 63, a resident of Houston, TX died Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held 11 am Friday, September 13, 2013 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton with burial in the Oak Grove Church of God Cemetery in Smith Co. Visitation will be held 5-9 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Rev. Jeremy Price and Rev. Baron Price will officiate the services. Ott and lee Funeral home in Morton will be in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Prestage was a native of Madison co. she was the daughter of Ruben Brooks and Annie Turnage Brooks. She was married to Robert Prestage. She worked in the shipping industry for 14 years. Mrs. Prestage loved her family and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be greatly missed by all who loved ad knew her.
Mrs. Prestage was preceded in death by her daughter, Kay Prestage; son, Tony Prestage; parents, Ruben Brooks and Annie Turnage Brooks; sisters, Helen Pope and Molly Purvis and her brother, Tommy Brooks.
Mrs. Prestage is survived by her husband, Robert Prestage of Houston, TX; daughter, Michelle (David) York of Pearland, TX; sisters, Patsy (Charlie) Jones of Branch, Maudie Guy of Polkville and Alice Holmes of Cooperville; 4 grandchildren, Lexi Prestage, Robert Easterling and his girlfriend Amanda Welch, Ashley Easterling and Alyssa Sessions; 1 great grandchild, Lizzy Prestage; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Willie Meadows, Jr., Willie Meadows, III, Kenny Meadows, Jay Mitchell, Shawn Dennis and Cody McBride.
