Prentiss Grant

Prentiss Michael Grant, age 58 of Brandon went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 31, 2021, with his wife and three daughters by his side. Visitation will be held on Thurs. Nov. 4, 2021 from 5pm-8pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 11am on Fri. Nov. 5, 2021 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS.

He was born in Bastrop, LA on January 23, 1963, to the late Gordan G. Grant, Jr., and Phyllis M (Fontana) Grant. Prentiss loved LSU football, golf, and most of all his wife, daughters, and grandchildren that he referred to as “his girls”. They were the absolute light of his life, and told anyone that had a conversation with him. Prentiss was loved by his friends, colleagues, clients, golfing buddies, and so many others. Prentiss graduated from Mississippi College School of Law, and obtained the degree of Doctor of Jurisprudence. Prentiss was a practicing Family Law attorney for over 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his, brother, Paul Grant. Prentiss is survived by his wife, Christina M. Grant; children, Heather (Brian) Lyles, Tabatha (Carlos Nunez) Grant, and Autumn (Cory) Jones; two grandchildren, Bethany Woods and Rachel Lyles; other relatives and a host of friends.

Prentiss will forever be missed in the lives of his family, friends, and so very many that held a special place in their heart for him. He leaves behind a void that can never be replaced.
