Preston Holmes

Preston Alan Holmes, age 18, a resident of Braxton, MS passed away March 21, 2021. Visitation will be held 5-8 pm Tuesday, March 23, 2021 and 12:30-2:00 pm Wednesday at Walker Hill Baptist Church in Brandon, MS. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday at the church with interment in Mount Zion Cemetery in Braxton, MS.

Preston was born in Ukraine on February 22, 2003 and lived in the United States all his life. His parents are Alan Neal Holmes and Jennifer Nowell Holmes. Preston enjoyed fishing and being in the outdoors cutting wood. He was always willing to help others and lend a helping hand. He loved his family and friends and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, TC Nowell.

He is survived by his parents, Alan Neal Holmes and Jennifer Nowell Holmes; brothers, Stephen Bailey Holmes and Tyler Dean Holmes; grandparents, William E. (Marie) Holmes and Joyce Nowell; and a host of other relatives and friends.
