Mrs. Rebecca Woods, age 61, a resident of Leland, MS, but formerly of Morton passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021 at Delta Health in Greenville, MS.  Visitation will be held Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 11am-1pm at Leesburg Church of Christ.  Graveside service at 1pm in the church cemetery.  Bro. Jack Stewart will officiate the services.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Rebecca was born in Picayune, MS on May 29, 1960.  She was a Primary Care Specialist with MS Care Center in Raleigh for many years.  Rebecca loved her job and helping people.  She enjoyed working in her yard with her flowers and enjoyed traveling and camping.  Her kids and grandkids were the apple of her eye and she will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Otho Mitchell and Ina Ruth Henry Shoemaker; and 2 brothers, Ronnie and Randy Mitchell

She is survived by her loving husband, Richard Woods of Leland, MS; children, Crystal Padgett of Greenville and Kimberly Woods of Leland; 3 grandchildren, Cameron and Harley Padgett and Braylin Cumberland and her special 1st cousin, Mrs. Mickey Massey and a host of friends.
