Redford Banks Satterfield, 77, a resident of Pearl, MS died Sunday, October 16, 2016 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. A graveside service will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the Sharon Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Lake, MS. Rev. John Joiner will officiate the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.
Mr. Satterfield was a native of Lake, MS. He was the son of Elder Fred Saterfiel and Maude Gibbs Saterfiel. He was married to Betty L. Moore Satterfield. Mr. Satterfield owned and operated a utility construction company for 25 years and was a member of Associated General Contractor before retiring. He was Baptist by faith. He loved his family very much and spending time with brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Mr. Satterfield was preceded in death by his parents, Elder Fred Saterfiel and Maude Gibbs Saterfiel and nine siblings.
Mr. Satterfield is survived by his wife of 57 years, Betty L. Moore Satterfield; sons, Clennon Wayne (Diane) Satterfield and Tony DeLane Satterfield; sisters, Irma Copeland and Janiece (Roger) Robuck; brother, Kenneth (Jackie) Saterfiel; five grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
