Rev. Arthur D. Kinstley, 78, passed away Friday, November 25, 2016 at his residence. Visitation is 2-5 pm Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon and 12 noon Monday at Leavell Woods United Methodist Church in Jackson. Services are 1 pm Monday at the church with burial in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl.
Bro. Art was a native of Vicksburg and a longtime resident of Rankin County. He was a true man of God who loved serving his Lord and people. Bro. Art pastored churches for many years in Scott, Simpson and Hinds County. He was a member of Kalem United Methodist Church in Morton and was currently pastoring Leavell Woods United Methodist Church in Jackson. Bro. Art was also a former businessman, owning and operating Big “K” Mobile Homes for over 30 years in Pearl.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Kinstley of Brandon; daughters, Gary Crotwell (Mike) of Crystal Springs, Nina Lofton (Dale) of Madison and Janice Daix (Joey) of Magnolia; son, Archie Kinsltley (Judy) of Flora; sisters, Carmen Case of Clinton, Jenny Dornell of Madison and Cindy Kinstley of Vicksburg; 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 granddaughters, Jennifer Kinstley and Nancy Brown.
