Rev. Billy Sellers

Rev. Billy M. Sellers, 71, passed away Fri. Sept. 25, 2020 at the G.V. Sonny Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Mon. Sept. 28, 2020 from 5pm-7pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 11am on Tues. Sept. 29, 2020 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in the Sharon Cemetery in Simpson County, MS.

Rev. Sellers was born on Feb. 7, 1949 in Magee, MS to the late Eddie William Sellers and Billie Rose Adcox Tucker. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Rev. Sellers was a former pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Richland, MS and was currently a member of Briar Hill Baptist Church in Florence, MS. Rev. Sellers was also a member of the Magnolia Rifle Range and an inactive member of the Christian Motorcycle Association. Rev. Sellers loved collecting guns and enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding motorcycles.

He is survived by his wife, Angelica “Angel” R. Sellers; five daughters, Gypsy Sellers, Kim Sellers, Brandy Dodd, Judy Collom (Eric) and Hope Gutierrez; son, Billy Tuttle; 11 grandchildren, David Medlock, Heather Hoda, Olivia Igee, Brooklen Tuttle, Trinity Barnett, Kendall Sellers, Kenadee White, Alex White Jr., Liam Hollingsworth, Ashton Myers and Gregory Sellers; 2 great grandchildren, Nathan Hoda and Leland Hoda; aunt, Bobbie White and a cousin, Judson Grubbs. Rev. Sellers is also preceded in death by an aunt, Inez Grubbs and his brothers, Harold Lee Brewer and Steve Brewer.
