Rev. Carl Turner, Jr

Rev. Carl Turner, age 89, a resident of Forest, MS died Saturday March 22, 2014 at the University Medical Center in Jackson following a brief illness.Funeral services will be conducted at 10am Wednesday March 26, 2014 at the Pleasant Hill Church of God in Carthage with interment the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5pm-8pm Tuesday at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest. There will also be a Visitation Wednesday morning at Pleasant Hill Church of God from 9:30am til service time at the church.Rev. Turner had pastored in Church of God (Cleveland,TN) churches for 50 years prior to his retirement.He was preceded in death by his parents and a son: James Carl Turner.Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Rubye Lynn Watkins Turner, one daughter, Janet Zundel (Ken) of Ft.
