Rev. Everett Eugene Welborn, age 75, a resident of Meridian, passed away Tuesday September 27, 2011 at Anderson Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be conducted today at 2pm from the chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest with interment following at Memorial Park in Meridian. Rev. Donald Turner will officiate the services.
Rev. Welborn was a lifelong resident of this area, and a retired Pastor in the Assemblies of God. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Wesley Welborn and Willie Colley Welborn.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ina Pearl Welborn of Meridian, daughter, Ann Smith also of Meridian, and sons, James Welborn of Collinsville, and Nathan Welborn of Chatom, AL., and one sister, Lillie Mae Barrett of Meridian. He also leaves behind a legacy of four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
