Rev. Riley Miller

Rev. Riley Dewain Miller, 73, a resident of Flowood, MS passed away Monday, June 3, 2019 at Saint Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS and from 9:00 -10:00 am Friday, June 7, 2019 at the church. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, June 7, 2019 at New Life Assembly of God in Brandon, MS.

Rev. Miller was born in Louisville, MS on December 21, 1945 to Roy Lee Rogers and Mary E. Miller. He was married to Webbie L. Miller. Rev. Miller served in ministry many years and was the pastor of New Life Assembly of God in Brandon, MS many years before retiring. He was the owner of Advance Tool and Die in Pearl, MS where he enjoyed hosting a prayer group with some of the Pearl Alumni. He was ordained in the MS Assemblies of God. He was pastor and mentor to many. Rev. Miller was dedicated to Jesus and his family. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Rev. Miller was preceded in death by his parents; his grandchild, Cole Snider; his step father, Steven Israel and his siblings, Ida Palmer and Toby Palmer.

Rev. Miller is survived by his wife, Webbie L. Adcox Miller; children, Scott (Melissa) Miller, Angela Ray, Brandy (Brandon)      Cates, Shane Rogers and Heather Miller; his siblings, Roger Israel, Allen Israel, Bobby Penney, Brenda Mainers, Sherry Busby, Mary Lou Jones and Delois Bagwell; 9 grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
