Victor Roy Vaughn, Sr., 83, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at Clinton Healthcare in Clinton, MS. Visitation will be 1-2pm Saturday, November 26, 2016, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon with a 2:30pm graveside following at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.
Rev. Vaughn was an educator and former dean at Clarke Memorial College in Newton, MS and former Pastor at Oakgrove Baptist Church in Lake, MS
Survivors include his son, Michael Gordon Vaughn (Debbie) of AL; sisters, Juanita Marks, Joan Potsman, Margaret Klein and Kay Vaughn; brothers, Joseph Cervin and Bobby Cervin; daughter-in-law, Greta Vaughn; grandchildren, Gordon Vaughn, Andy Vaughn, Sarah Vaughn Perkins and Victoria Vaughn Blankenship; great grandchildren, Emma Blankenship and Ivey Ann Blankenship. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Spivey Vaughn; son, Victor Roy Vaughn, Jr. parents, Delbert Lee and Helen Underwood Vaughn; brothers, Delbert Vaughn, Jr. and Daniel Vaughn.
