Richard Alan Warwick

Richard Alan Warwick, 63, of Houston TX passed away on June 29, 2023. A memorial service will be held 1:30 pm Saturday, July 13 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton, Ms. Interment will be at Morton Memorial Gardens, no graveside service will be held.

He was born June 21, 1960 in Jackson, MS to Richard Lynwood Warwick and Elaine Stone Warwick. He was a graduate of Putnam City High School in Oklahoma City and went on to earn a degree from Oklahoma University in Petroleum Geology. He was employed by Century Oil Company.

In his free time, Alan loved to express his creativity by painting and was an avid art collector. He enjoyed searching for fossils, hunting, and fishing. He was passionate about his work, and when he wasn’t working, he was travelling.

Alan is survived by his mother, Elaine Warwick, and several cousins with whom he was close. He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Lynwood Warwick, two aunts, and one uncle.
