Mr. Richard Chunn, age 46, a resident of Brandon, passed away at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center after a lengthy illness. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at 1pm from the Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Richard was born in Hinds County on February 18, 1975. He served as a Bounty Hunter at one time and really enjoyed it. He loved motorcycles especially the Raider and Indian. Richard loved to eat, and a couple of his favorites was Mexican food, peanut butter cups and sweet tea. He loved being outdoors, especially when he was able, he would fish and hunt but after his brother, Tim Chunn died, he never hunted again. He just kept the wonderful memories inside that he and Tim had together. Richard had a heart of gold. His family said, “Richard always had a contagious smile, loved his family and always told everyone that he loved them.” He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Freddie Chunn and Judy Ann Thompson Chunn; brother, Tim Chunn; sister, Amanda Chunn; grandfather, Johnny Thompson; grandparents, Jack (Jinks) & Louise Harrell.
He is survived by his loving fiance’, who has been by his side though his long sickness, Michelle Watson; daughter, Shiann Chunn; grandmother, Polly Thompson; 12 grandchildren; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
