Richard Martin May a lifelong resident of Rankin County and Scott County, MS gained his heavenly wings on March 19, 2022. Survived by his fiancée, Renee Hudson; son Tim May and wife Victoria May; mother and step father Barbara and John Cornelison; sister, Angie Moore; step sisters Brenda Prewitt and Wanda Bynum; grandchildren, Anna Kate May, Elliott Ramagos and Tucker Burchfield; niece Brittney Savell; nephews, Trenton Moore, Chandler May and Charles May with a host of aunts, uncles and cousins who will all miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Robert May; brother, Charles Patrick May; step brother, Johnny Cornelison and step sister, Linda Pickard.

Ricky May was born on December 15, 1967 to Charles and Barbara May. He was a graduate of Richland Attendance Center and worked as a skilled carpenter and handyman for the better part of 25 years. Ricky was a devoted grandfather and avid mountain climber of sorts. He loved playing practical jokes on family and friends. He would often find himself laughing harder at his own jokes than the spectators listening would. But more than anything Ricky cherished his family. It was seldom he met a stranger and it goes without saying he will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
