Richard Larry Tullos, 63, a resident of Brandon died Friday, March 20, 2015 at his home in Brandon. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon with burial in the Corinth Cemetery in Magee, MS. Visitation will be held from 11 am until 2 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. Rev. Claude Shufelt will officiate the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon.
Mr. Tullos was a native of Simpson County. He was the son of Byron and Minnie Mae McWilliams Tullos. He was married to Paula Rhinewalt Tullos. He was a machinist most of his life and worked for T and S Machine Shop in Brandon many years. He was Baptist by Faith and loved Jesus with all his heart. Mr. Tullos enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved his family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Mr. Tullos was preceded in death by his parents, Byron and Minnie Mae McWilliams Tullos; wife, Paula Rhinewalt Tullos; sister, Peggy Jo Bullard and brothers, Lavell and Miles J. Tullos.
Mr. Tullos is survived by his children, Shelly Pfuhl and her husband Ryan of Rockwall, TX, Lori McCaghren and her husband Jody of Frisco, TX and Scott Tullos of Plano, TX; four grandchildren; brothers, Vernon Tullos and his wife Sybil of Brookhaven, MS, George J. Tullos and his wife Ruby of Brandon, MS and James Ray Tullos and his wife Ann of Brandon, MS; sisters-in-law, Billie Tullos of Brandon, MS and Sue Tullos of Pelahatchie, MS; many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
