Richard "Ricky" Sanders

Ricky Sanders, age 59, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 in Haughton, LA following a short illness.  He will have a Celebration of Life service on Sunday 2pm, September 19, 2021 at Corner Stone Church.  Bro. Doug Rumulls will officiate the service.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Ricky was born in Monroe, LA on October 21, 1961.  He loved to fish and enjoyed working in construction building homes.  Ricky loved his children and his grandchildren were the apple of his eye.  He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Sherman M. Sanders and Nancy Layton Bynum; siblings, Sherman M. Sanders, Jr. and George Edward Bynum.

He is survived by his children, Richard Ash, Richard Roberts and stepson, Seth Ash; siblings, Michelle Sanders (Ron), John Bynum (Vicki), Linda Holsomback (Marty), Earl Sanders, Mary Sanders Skrabanek, Vernon Sanders, Tammie Grace, Tracey Livingston, Kelly Gabel and Tim Sanders; numerous grandchildren; other family members and a host of friends.
