Rickey Alexander

Rickey Steve Alexander, 65, a resident of Brandon, MS passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. A memorial service will be held 4 pm Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held from 2-4 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Alexander was born October 2, 1952 to William Van Alexander and Sally Womble Alexander. He was a native of Louisville, MS. Mr. Alexander was married to Joann Foreman Alexander. He served as Fleet Manager for KLLM Trucking for many years before retiring. He loved his family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Mr. Alexander was preceded in death by his daughter, Brandy Alexander and his parents, William Van Alexander and Sally Womble Alexander.

Mr. Alexander is survived by his wife of 17 years, Joann Alexander; his children, Amber Dawn (Saul) Solano, Wesley Blake (Ashley) Alexander and Sandra Michelle (BJ) Floyd; brothers, William “Bill” Alexander, Randy (Brenda) Alexander and JC (Mary Beth) Alexander; sisters, June Culver and Gwen (Jack) Kiser; four grandchildren, Bailey Floyd, Owen Floyd, Reed Alexander and Nora Solano; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
