Ricky Darrell Donald, 70, passed away on Fri. Nov. 17, 2023 at his home in Florence, MS. Visitation will be held on Mon. Nov. 20, 2023 from 5pm-7pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS and on Tues. Nov. 21, 2023 from 10am-11am at Flowood Baptist Church in Flowood, MS. Funeral Services are 11am on Tues. Nov. 21, 2023 at Flowood Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.

Mr. Donald was born on Aug. 27, 1953 in Pelahatchie, MS. He was currently a resident of Florence, MS and was a member of Flowood Baptist Church in Flowood, MS.

He is survived by his wife, Debra “Debbie” Whatley Donald; mother, Bettye Donald; 3 children, Russell Donald (Mandy), Kristen Donald Blakeney (Rodney) and Justin Donald (Dana); 8 grandchildren, Connor Blakeney, Paige Donald, Taylor Blakeney, Keri Donald, Reagan Donald, Noah Donald, Nora Donald and Colton Blakeney; 2 sisters, Brenda Biard (Tim) and Renee Busby (Bill); 2 brothers, Jerry Donald (Debbie), Randy Donald (Sharon) and his father-in-law, Charles Whatley. Mr. Doanld is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Donald; sister, Joyce Donald and his mother-in-law, Beatrice Whatley.
