Robbin K. “Sarge” Manuel, 59, passed away Tues. June 1, 2010 in Hinds County. Visitation will be held Sun. June 6, 2010 from 11am.-1:15pm. at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Graveside Services are 2pm. Sun. June 6, 2010 at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl.
Mr. Manuel was born in Tampa, FL and was a resident of Selma, AL before moving to Brandon. He served in the Army for 22 years and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. After the war he was stationed in Germany and at Ft. Polk. Later he became a recruiter and worked in Texas and in Mississippi. Mr. Manuel was currently working for Atwood Chevrolet in Vicksburg. He loved to fish, make Christmas ornaments and enjoyed all types of Harley Davidson Motorcycles. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Manuel of Brandon; three children, Sue Ann Manuel, Jessica Manuel and Keith Manuel all of Brandon; two grandchildren, Hayden and Zachary Sandifer; two sisters, Marilyn VanAnda of St. Petersburg, FL and Sue Ann Harris and husband Russell of Selma, AL and 5 nieces and 1 nephew. He is preceded in death by his brother, Leman Manuel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any Vietnam Veterans Organizations of your choice.
