Robert Burnham

Robert C. “Butch” Burnham, Jr., 72,  a resident of Puckett, MS passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Funeral services will be held 3 pm Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Puckett United Methodist Church in Puckett, MS with interment in the Puckett Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS and from 2-3 pm Sunday at the church.

Mr. Burnham was born on March 9, 1946 to Robert C. Burnham, Sr. and Ina Gene Kline Burnham. He was a native of Puckett, MS. He was married to Nancy Elizabeth Turner Burnham. Mr. Burnham worked as a farmer. He was a member of Puckett United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Puckett. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching Mississippi State sports, being outdoors and most of all spending time with his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Mr. Burnham was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Nancy Elizabeth Turner Burnham and his parents, Robert C. Burnham, Sr. and Ina Gene Kline Burnham.

Mr. Burnham is survived by his children, Stephanie Burnham, Gina (John Mark) Williams, Kristen (Jake) Townsend and Robin (Mark) Smith; sister, Dawn Taylor; brother, Steve (Judy) Burnham; grandchildren, Justin (Maggie) Woods, Kyle (Ashley) Woods, London Williams, Dylan Stanley, Peyton Clark, Beaux Smith, Cooper Townsend and Eli Townsend; five great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
