Robert Jay “Robby” Grant, 48, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2020, at his home.  Visitation will be 12 Noon – 2:30pm Monday, August 24, 2020, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.  Interment services will follow at 3pm at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, MS.  Rev. Jim Taylor will officiate.

Robby was born in Jackson, MS to William B. Grant, Jr. and Gayle H. Grant on May 3, 1972.  He was a very talented local artist in which he painted custom airbrush and hand lettering. He also loved to go to classic car shows.  He never met a stranger and will be missed by all that knew him.

Survivors include his fiancée, Shea Mathis; mother, Gayle H. Grant; son, Jay Grant; step daughters, Maranda Vaughn (Brennan) and Chelsea McLean (Ashton); step son Logan Potter; grandchildren, Luke, Esmé, and Jackson Vaughn and Brooks McLean; brother, Richey Grant; step sisters, Teresa Gilmore, Angie Whitman; step brothers, Michael Grant and Chris Grant.  He was preceded in death by his father.
