Robert Dell Haskins, 82, passed away Tues. Jan. 26, 2016 at his home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held on Mon. Feb. 1, 2016 from 6pm-8pm and on Tues. Feb. 2, 2016 from 10am-10:45am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 11am Tues. Feb. 2, 2016 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with a 2pm graveside service to follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Mize, MS.
Mr. Haskins was born in Belzoni, MS and has been a resident of Brandon, MS for the past 38 years after moving from Jackson, MS. He was a practicing CPA for 50 years. Mr. Haskins served his country in the U. S. Air Force and enjoyed playing golf as much as he could. He was a loving family man who enjoyed spending his time with them, especially his grandchildren.
Mr. Haskins is survived by his wife, Nan Haskins; two children, Beverly Haskins Kennedy and Gina Alford (Rick); five grandchildren, Gregory Kennedy, Stephanie Mangafakis (Stephen), Jason Kennedy (Stephanie), Kimberly Mosley (Steve) and Wendi O’Neill (Steven); nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Haskins is preceded in death by his parents, Octavia Bell Cherry Haskins and Luther Haskins, four sisters and four brothers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children at 2500 N. State St. Jackson, MS 39216.
