Robert Johnson, affectionately called “Uncle Robert” or “Unk” by family and friends was born July 26, 1916 and died April 9, 2013 at Lackey Convalescence Home in Forest, MS.
He was a Veteran of World War II, serving the U.S. Army in France and Germany.  For many years he worked for Toles Plumbing Co. in Jackson, MS.  He was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of UA Local Union #714, and a member of Shiloh Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter & Sarah Watkins Johnson; his brother, James Fred Johnson and a sister, Sadie Sheffield.
Survivors include his brother, Howard Johnson of Brandon, MS; his sister, Betty Warren and her husband, Joe of Pelahatchie, MS and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 12, 2013 from 9 am until 10:30 am at  Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.   Graveside Services will be held at ll am in the Shiloh Cemetery south of Pelahatchie, MS.
