SERVICES: 2 PM SUNDAY AT Crossroads Baptist Church in Pelahatchie, MSBURIAL: CROSSROADS CEMETERYVISIT: 5-8 PM SATURDAY AT OTT AND LEE FUNERAL HOME IN BRANDONRobert Clifton Laird, 66, went home to be with Jesus, on Thursday, February 28, 2013. Visitation is 5-8pm today at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Services are 2pm Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Crossroads Baptist Church in Pelahatchie, MS. Mr. Laird was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church and he prepared the church bulletin for over 8 years. He painted and enjoyed wood working, and he loved to go deep sea fishing. Robert was a wonderful and loving husband and father that always had a smile for his family. Survivors include his wife Brenda Laird; 2 daughters, Michelle Carney of the Reservoir area and Candy Sansing (Bryan) of Brandon; 3 grandchildren, Dane Carney, Blake Sansing and Carson Sansing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Clifton Laird and Victorene Necie Chaney Laird and 2 sisters, Freida Kay Baucum and Geneva Nunley.Memorials may be made to Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
