ROBERT “BOB” SIBLEY
MORTON
Mr. Bob Sibley, age 81, a resident of Morton passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Scott Regional Hospital in Morton. Visitation was held Friday, February 18, 2011 from 4-8pm at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Funeral Services were held 11am Saturday, February 19, 2011 from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Morton Memorial Gardens. Rev. Earl Clark and Rev. Tommy Miles officiated the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Mr. Sibley worked for the Ms. Industries for the Blind in Jackson for many years. He was the co-owner of Environmental Waste Management and Partridge Propane. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
Mr. Sibley is preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Wayne Sibley; parents, George R. Sibley and Kathleen Nugent Sibley.
Mr. Sibley is survived by his wife of 57 years, Elizabeth “Libby” Sibley of Morton; daughter, Penny Bridges of Morton; 5 grandchildren, Kenneth Shelby Sibley, Brandy Leigh Freeman, Nolan Riley Bridges, Kenneth Marshall Bridges and Eva Alana Bridges; 9 great grandchildren, Madison Sibley, Tabitha Sibley, Kenneth Wayne Sibley, Haley Freeman, Emiley Freeman, Christopher Bridges, Kiley Bridges, Addison Bridges and Valerie Elizabeth Bridges and a host of friends.
Pallbearers were Marshall Bridges, Nolan Bridges, Kenneth Shelby Sibley, Randy Easterling, Ken Gordon, Tom Miles and Hubbard Partridge. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Howard Clark, Hugh Myers and Joe Tillman.
