Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2014, from the graveside at Unity Assembly of God Cemetery for the family only. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest. from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Mr. Taylor, known as Red to his many friends, was a long time resident of this area and had been a self-employed businessman since 1969. He was held in high esteem by many people for his great ability in the installation of chicken equipment. Many farmers had great confidence in his ability to always install their equipment to its highest capacity of operation.Red was preceded in death by his parents, Robert David Taylor and Hattie Louetta Taylor, also by two brothers, Cotton and David Taylor. His survivors include his wife, Shirley Taylor, four sons, Robert Paul Taylor and Dena, Donny Taylor and Betty, James"Boo" Taylor and Peggy, Robert"Bobby" Taylor . Also by his siblings, Bud Taylor, Mildred Kelly, Nell Potvoricky, Dottie Torinese and Kathy Bagley. Also by 10 grandchildren and by 7 great grandchildren.
