Robert White, Sr.

Robert Andrew White, Sr., was born April 12, 1962 at Newton, Mississippi. He was a longtime resident of Sumrall, and had been a resident of this area for the last 14 years. He was a Christian by testimony and a Baptist by faith. Mr. White was a retired truck driver and served in the Mississippi Army National Guard for six years. He enjoyed the simple things of life, in particular, things of nature, Bible reading and his talks with God. Mr. White passed away New Year’s Day, January 01, 2021 at his home in Morton, Mississippi at the age of 58.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Lemme O’Therall White, Sr. and Mattie Inez Stevens Thrasher.

Survivors include his son: Robert (Tracy) White; six grandchildren; siblings: Ricky White, Linda Thornton, Mary Ann Havard, Tim White, Melissa Thrasher, Amanda Kennedy, and Chris Thrasher; and several nieces and nephews.
