In Loving Memory of Roberta Lynn Knab
Roberta Lynn Knab a spirited and indomitable force of nature, passed away on February 1, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. She lived a life as vibrant and fearless as the flame that defined her character.
Born June 9, 1957, in Waukegan, IL; Roberta Lynn Bunyard navigated the journey of life with a unique and formidable spirit. Her unyielding determination and straightforward nature set her apart, making her a force to be reckoned with in any circumstance. Those who knew Roberta recognized her as a woman of great strength and resilience.
While Roberta may have been perceived by some as firm in her convictions, those closest to her understood the depth of her loyalty and the protective nature she had for her loved ones. She faced life's challenges head-on, displaying a tenacity that often belied a genuine concern for the well-being of those around her.
A woman of many facets, Roberta had a sharp wit that kept conversations lively and an unmistakable presence that could not be ignored. Her unique approach to life garnered respect and, in many instances, a sense of admiration from those who had the opportunity to engage with her.
Family and friends remember Roberta for her unwavering support and commitment. Her contributions to the lives of those she cared about were profound, and the impact of her presence will be felt for years to come. Despite any perceived sternness, Roberta had a way of leaving an enduring impression on the hearts of those who knew her intimately.
Roberta Lynn Knab was preceded in death by her Father-Robert Clarence Bunyard, Daughter-Marcee Walker Mack, Sister-Lilyanne Bunyard Moore. Survived by Mother- Irene Bunyard, Son- Christopher Neal Walker, Siblings: Brother-James David Bunyard, Brother- Robert Timothy Bunyard Bunyard, Brother- Christopher Lee Bunyard, two 2 grandchildren Cody Mack & Katie Mack and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to celebrate Roberta's life will take place on February 5th & 6th. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 5 from 4-7 PM at Ott and Lee of Morton, a second visitation will be held Tuesday, February 6 from 10-11 AM followed by a funeral service in the chapel. A graveside service will be held under the pavilion at Morton Memorial Gardens before internment.
Serving as pallbearers will be - Chris Bunyard, Jimmy Bunyard, Tim Bunyard, Sam Bunyard, Toby Cooper, and Chris Walker.
