Roberta S. Magee

Roberta S. Hartfield Magee, 93, passed away Mon. Dec. 17, 2018 at Willow Creek Nursing Home in Byram, MS. Visitation will be held on Sat. Dec. 22, 2018 from 12pm-1:45pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral Services are 2pm on Sat. Dec. 22, 2018 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in the Lakewood Memorial Park South Cemetery in Jackson, MS.

Mrs. Magee was born in New Hebron, MS and has been a longtime resident of Hinds and Rankin Counties. She was a member of Park Place Baptist Church in Pearl, MS.

She is survived by her husband, Lloyd V. Magee Sr.; three children, Robert W. “Bob” Hartfield Sr. (Linda), Diane H. Sylvester and Claudia H. Bartlett (Tim); sister, Bobbie Price; sisters in law, Sybil and Betty Sills; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Mrs. Magee is preceded in death by her first husband, Jabus W. Hartfield; brothers, Wallace, Walter and James Sills; sisters, Eula Murphy, Patsy Heimel, Maggie Holmes, Kay Hartman, Delma Simmons, Wilma Tyrone and her step sisters, Alice Ruth Latham, Grace Wallace, Nell Wallace and Kathryn Crosby.
