Mr. Robert Henry “Bob” Smith, Jr., 64, died Friday, October 15, 2010 at St. Dominic/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation is today, Saturday, October 16, 2010 from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon,
MS. Funeral Services are 2 pm Sunday, October 17, 2010 from the Chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS with burial to follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS.
Mr. Smith was born on November 8, 1945 in Memphis, TN to the late Robert H. Smith, Sr. and Jeanette Sivley Smith. He had been a resident of Brandon for 13 years and a former resident of Greenwood, MS. He was a retired sales representative for Swift Independent Packing Company where he had worked for 15 years. He was a member of Crossgates Baptist Church. He loved his grandchildren and his rose garden.
Survivors include his wife, Lynda Sims Smith of Brandon, MS; two children, Lee Smith and his wife, Jenni of Madison, MS and Kim Williamson and her husband, Anthony of Richland, MS; four grandchildren, Laney Williamson, Haley Williamson, Ford Smith and Millie Smith; and one brother, Whitney Smith of Greenwood, MS.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 4830 McWillie Circle, Jackson, MS 39206.
