Robert "Bob" Spencer Jr.

Robert “Bob” Ernest Spencer Jr., 66, passed away Thurs. March 4, 2021 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be held on Sat. March 6, 2021 from 5pm-7pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.

Mr. Spencer was born on Oct. 22, 1954 in Jackson, MS to the late Robert Spencer Sr. and Marie Dodd Spencer. He graduated Forest Hill School where he went from 1st grade through the 12th grade. Mr. Spencer worked his entire life and retired from Hyster/Deep South Equipment Company. He loved to play golf and was an avid MSU Fan. Mr. Spencer enjoyed listing to Jimmy Buffett Music, scuba diving, racing go-carts, and playing football. He was also a licensed pilot.

Mr. Spencer was a very selfless man. He loved time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He took care of his two girls and always put them first. Most of all, he loved his wife very much. She was his “One true love”.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn Weathersby Spencer; two daughters, Mandy Fife (Brad) and April Delaware (Nathan); two grandchildren, Matthew Fife, Henry Delaware and one brother, Marvin Spencer (Lynn).
