Rodney L. Massey, 59, of Morton, MS, passed away at his residence on April 1, 2017.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 8th at New Hope Fellowship Church 173 Shady Oak Lane in Pelahatchie at 4:00pm. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS handled the arrangements.
A lifelong resident of Pearl and Morton, Mississippi, Rodney attended Pearl High School. He was a versatile handyman.
Rodney loved friends, family, animals and through trials and tribulations, maintained a deep sweetness in his heart. He knew the strength of a mother's love all his days.
Rodney was baptized as an adult at the Grace Bible Church of Brandon.
Rodney is preceded in death by his father Emmett Massey, He is survived by his mother Marie Joy Massey, and his siblings: Robert "Bobby" Steven Massey, Randa Blakeney (Brien), Rory Lee Massey (Traci Dyess) and numerous nieces and nephews.
