Rodney Eugene Waites, 50, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016 at his home in Richland, MS. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 from 5-7pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Funeral Services are 2pm on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS. with burial in the Glenwood Memorial Park Cemetery in Richland, MS.
Mr. Waites was born in New Orleans, LA and has been a longtime resident of Rankin County, MS. He took great pride in the plumbing and maintenance work he did for his employer RMB Properties, LLC. Mr. Waites, "LSUDUDE" was a lifelong fan of the LSU Tigers.
He is survived by his parents, Becky Chandler of Richland, MS and Robert Waites of Hammond, LA; two children, Keri-Elizabeth Waites and Rodney Tyler Waites; two sisters, Karen Spahr and Elizabeth LaFont; two brothers, Robert J. Waites Jr. and Timothy Cook ; nieces and nephews, Alexis Borne, Maci Spahr, Caleb and Cameron LaFont, Amelia and Ryan Waites, Skylar and Christina Cook and James Kitchens; and a host of friends.
